Motorcycle Licence Tests
Each motorcycle licence test is basically the same. The only difference being the power of the motorbike you will ride throughout the practical testing period. Lower powered bikes (125cc) are used for AM and A1 level while higher powered bikes (500cc-650cc) are used for A2 and A (full) motorcycle licence testing.
Licence testing is broken into
On-site testing, which is carried out away from all other traffic on a DVSA approved test site with safe tarmac riding conditions and on-road testing.
The second module of the test usually takes around 35 - 40 minutes and is on public roads covering a range of road and traffic conditions. A DVSA examiner will follow you for this period.
