Prepare for Your CBT Training
Just Bring Yourself
Students preparing for the CBT course must be at least 15 years and 9 months old. They also need a provisional driving licence or higher to qualify for the training. For people who wear glasses, you’ll need to have a sight test that shows you can read a licence plate from a distance of 20 metres and, of course, you’ll need to bring your glasses with you for the training! Sight tests are usually part of gaining a provisional licence from the DVLA. If you meet all of the above requirements for a CBT we’ll provide almost everything else you need to get through the day successfully.
Students for all of our courses only need to bring themselves, their motorcycle licence (if moving up a licence level), a packed lunch and wear sturdy shoes or boots (trainers are not acceptable) for the day or duration of the chosen course.
Unlike some other motorcycle training schools, we do not charge extra on the day for insurance or fuel. All the necessities for the training course are covered in your course payment which is made prior to training.
