General Competition Terms & Conditions
Introduction
By participating in any competition run by Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited, you are agreeing to these competition terms and conditions.
Eligibility to Enter
The competitions are open to UK residents who are at least 16 years of age or older. Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited employees and associates are excluded from the draw.
By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you (please note that higher age restrictions, requirement for previous qualifications, knowledge or experience, as well as geographical restrictions may apply in some cases).
There is a limit of one entry per person, and the competition is completely free to enter.
The competitions are run during the dates indicated in the adverts, social media posts and emails promoting the competitions.
The Prize
The winning prizes vary depending on the competition. Unless stated otherwise, there is one prize per competition.
In the case when the winning prize is a free Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited course, the prize will be offered at one of Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited’s centres in the UK.
We aim to offer the prize at the nearest Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited centre to the winner, but reserve the right to change the venue if circumstances beyond our control require doing so. Please note that not every type of course is run at all of our centres. Competition entrants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses to collect the prize. In some cases this means travel to and from the Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited’s centre where the training will be delivered, but in other instances the locations can be different.
The prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited’s decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the social media channel that they entered the competition as soon as possible after the competition has closed.
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited will make two attempts to contact the winner via social media.
If the winner does not respond to the messages informing them of their win within 14 days of the second message, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Please be aware of scams. Only the official Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited account will notify the winner, and we will not ask for any personal details publicly via social media.
Delivery of the Prize
If the prize is a training session, course or activity with Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited, the winner will have a choice of which eligible Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited centre they want to visit to claim the prize. The date and time for this will depend on availability at the chosen centre.
If the prize is a physical or digital item (i.e. tickets to an event or a physical item), the delivery will be via online or post.
In some cases, where the prize is offered by a third party, the delivery is at their discretion.
Data Protection and Publicity
You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited for the purposes of administering the competition and for other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy.
All entrants may request information on the winning participant by contacting Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited.
If requested by Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited, the winner agrees to release their first name and place of employment to other competition participants.
The winner’s first name and place of residence will be announced on Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited’s website and social media channels.
Limitation of Liability
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition, being selected for a prize or accessing the prize.
General
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Limited reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel any competition or amend these terms and conditions.
