The Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) test is notoriously challenging, but it is actually the qualification route for driving instructors (cars), not motorcycle instructors.
Motorcycle instructors do not take the ADI exam. Instead, they follow a completely different DVSA path consisting of advanced motorcycle theory, local down-training, a dedicated two-day CBT assessment, and a half day exam for DAS training qualifications at a regional centre like Cardington.
