Phoenix motorcycle training and CBT course in Bath
Phoenix’s Bath Motorcycle Training Centre is based at Walcot Rugby Club, Lansdown, a mile from the Bath Racecourse. Follow the signs from Bath City centre to Lansdown, and proceed towards the racecourse/golf club. On the right-hand side, opposite the Park & Ride site, you will find Walcot Rugby club.
We offer complimentary tea and coffee throughout your training and we benefit from sheltered areas if it rains. We also have newly built male and female toilets.
At our Bath motorcycle training centre, we deliver all instruction using well-maintained motorcycles, for Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), A1, A2 and A licence training, Full Licence DAS training, and Advanced Rider Training. Our motorcycles and mopeds range from 50ccs up to 650ccs. Students will ride the appropriately powered bike for the courses they book. All course fees include full safety equipment, petrol, insurance and test booking fees (where appropriate). We are also able to provide 1-1 training on request and when required by DVSA guidelines.
We run our CBT and full licence courses 7 days a week. You can book most of our advanced training courses throughout the week and some weekends also. We use a variety of public UK roads for advanced courses, covering as many as 180 miles with some courses. In many instances, you are able to ride your own bike for advanced tuition. The advanced courses we offer include the DVSA’s Enhanced Rider Scheme, Rider Plus, Blue Ribband and Diamond advanced tuition.

PreCBT sessions are great for preparing to take your CBT and you have already ridden a bike. You can choose 1 or 2 hour sessions, and book as many as you need to build your confidence.

Full Licence Training – Direct Access (DAS)

Fast Track Motorcycle Training

Fast Track courses are different from the Full Licence training courses. We’ve designed them to run on consecutive days. At the end of the training days, you’ll take both parts of the motorcycle licence test.
