The Phoenix Back-to-Biking course is for motorcyclists at any level of full-licence experience. We tailor the course to suit individuals so you get the most out of your training session.
Phoenix Motorbike Training Chippenham covers most of North and West Wiltshire, including Chippenham, Bath, Frome, Trowbridge, Melksham, Calne, Devizes, Corsham and Colerne.
All training is based at Chippenham Rugby Club which has a large and safe DVSA-approved training area large enough to complete the Full Licence test curriculum.
We provide full safety equipment with all courses at Chippenham Motorcycle Training Centre. We use our fleet of well-maintained motorcycles, for Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), A1, A2 and A licence training, Full Licence DAS training, ‘Back to Biking’ courses and Advanced Rider Training. Machines range from ranging from 50cc mopeds, 125cc motorcycles and up to 650cc motorbikes. All courses at Phoenix’s Chippenham School are carried out with a strict 2:1 student-to-instructor ratio. We are also able to provide 1-1 training on request and when required by DVSA guidelines.
We run our CBT and full licence courses 7 days a week. You can book most of our advanced training courses throughout the week and some weekends also. We use a variety of public UK roads for advanced courses, covering as many as 180 miles with some courses. In many instances, you are able to ride your own bike for advanced tuition. The advanced courses we offer include the DVSA’s Enhanced Rider Scheme, Rider Plus, Blue Ribband and Diamond advanced tuition.
